Yet another Gamble by Google, They Bought www.youtube.com for $1.65 billion Phew! Youtube is a really small organization only 62 employees, but yes, indeed the customer base is BIG BIG BIG whooping 72 million guys. They have developed a strong platform to people to share, watch and subscribe the videos ranging in the tons of diff. categories (whatever suits you). http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/6034577.stm I have been a user for many video sharing websites, but youtube is indeed the best, when it comes to AVAILABILITY, I don’t like Google Videos at all. i am still not sure that i want to blog about this, but i had to tell this to somebody, 'Somebody" might be my BLOG.
In last 5 months, i broke all the ties with the world, i stopped taking much interest in family, i stopped having parties (only 3 since then) with frnds, and they all became un-interested in me too, and i even stopped going to our corporate office.
Justified ? - yes it's justified, i am not talking to them - they won't talk to me....fair enough...coz i am concentrated on something else.
I might need them again - neaaaah .... i don't think so, from here only one way goes ......Professional success, and which leads to a life (home to office, office to home).
Leave it, that's not the point.....I was at Bangalore last week, for a week long discussion with our Client (CRIS, Center for Railway Information systems), and Microsoft.....Really good for professional experience.....i was all alone, and i wanted to talk to some people, may be chat wid them...
So i opened my msngr.....some office colleagues were logged in, and i tried to talk wid one of them, the colleague just kind of bursted over me.......i thought it might be someone else using my colleagues lappy, and kept myself cool, i stopped chatting after i was beaten enough byTHE ONE.
Next night again i tried to pacify the same, but again similar behavior, my colleague is known for polite behavior, but i don't know what was wrong.
Then as usual, i had to start up a new colleague (Say "A") on a new project, but had to get help from "The One", I was actually asking too much from "A" , so i thought why not ask "The One" to help "A".
So i wrote up an email with task description to my Boss, and the Team (Which comprises only "A"), and asked "The One" to help, in the middle of email where i was asking, i just wrote "They are friends i guess", because if they are not friends i can't expect much from "The One", but if they are as i guessss....then i might expect even "A" to finish the Impossible piece of work.
I got a back email....which says "Don't get personal, stay in limits' and many other things....
I am shocked what happened ?, did i committed a mistake ?.....i hardly said anything...........even if it is , I am so much hurt, that might never talk to "The One". Such a harsh attack....
if you are tired, you can simply say "Brij i am tired" / "I am going to sleep" / whatever but not straight Harsh words, that i can't even expect.
GOD........I am sure, i didn't tried to get personal, but just get help for "A".
